a few months back they raided several houses for illegal downloading and just yesterday (24 nov 06) they are advertising/promoting quicker music downloads..from this i gathered several possible meanings...

1. the laws governing this coutry are seriously flawed
2. there are new laws concerning downloading of music which i am unaware of
3. there are several other sensitive issues that i will leave you to think for yourself..(*hint: role of singnet and straits times)

it should follow that we no longer have to fear excessive downloading of music because...

this just about illustrates how STATS class is..ultimate rambling with zero understanding..i've added the ugly girls to emphasize the pain of sitting through this class..

in what seems like an ominous sign, a day following the conclusion of the IMF/World Bank meets, a ragged looking lady approached me on the streets to ask me for some money. I instantly recalled just a day before the event commenced, a ragged looking male approached me from a bus stop with a similar request.

of course i flatly rejected both requests. there are many issues at hand here. one for example is how heartless a person daren can be. but of course we will ignore the obvious issues. another issue i was wondering abt is how much (not just financially) singapore can spend in preparing such a large scale event and yet SEEMINGLY neglect the poorer minority..of course this is assuming that they are poor in the first place..just some speculation..ISD pls dont arrest me..

after taking a walk down memory lane back in acjc, i thought of one question..what is the use of having memories? well they certainly bring back good ol fun times but not all will be good..then again what if humans are deprieved of memories especially the good ones..would life still have any meaning? i dunno..

im not sure if it is just me or are charity drive adverts getting more and more desparately pitiful..to gain more sympathy after the durai saga?

sigh..the consequences we gotta suffer for the decisions we make..

sometimes i just wonder..

why people refuse to openly admit their folly
like how Eng FA chief excutive Brian Barwick insisting that Sven Goran Eriksson was not an expensive mistake when he clearly was quite worthless
-paid him 5 million pounds a year for 5 years just to exit at the quarterfinals at major tournaments
-had affairs with the office staff
-openly admitted his distaste for the job (and got caught for it!)

sometimes i just wonder..
why people like to spend so much money and resources for worthless stuff
like how MediaCorp spends so much resources on avertising the current remaining batch of Singapore Idols when they are clearly not idol material..

somtimes i just lie awake and wonder..
why things turn out the way they did in the club..
there are so many things to wonder about in this world..if i continue to bother myself with such stuff, sooner or later i will go bonkers..
